​Mrs. Clara Belle Davis Allen

Mrs. Clara Belle Davis Allen age 82 of Mt. Airy passed away Monday morning January 18, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Allen was born August 20, 1933 in Surry County to the late Oliver Augburn and Amanda Belle Davis, she was retired from Smart Top Hosiery and was a member of Mount Bethel Moravian Church. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law Sheila Allen Fisher and husband Charles of Statesville, one son Jody Allen of the home, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Greene Allen, by three sons Charlie Greene Allen, Jr., J. Ryan Allen and Jonathan Eric Allen and by five brothers Charles Climon Davis, O. A. Davis, Jr., Corbin Edwin Davis, Tex Davis and Johnny Davis. Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Skyline Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends on Wednesday January 20, 2016 from 6-8 at Moody Funeral Home.
