Alene McMillian Malcolm

Ms. Alene McMillian Malcolm, 70, of 6415 Old Plank Road, Lot #55, Charlotte, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. She was born February 17, 1938, to Raymond McMillian and Anna Boles McMillian Jones. She was retired and a member of the Primitive Baptist faith. Surviving are three daughters and a son-in-law, Sheila and Elbert Hulett of Stanley, Teresa McMillan of Walnut Cove, and Cynthia Kiser of Garland, TX; a son, Aaron Arnder of Pfafftown; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her mother, Anna Boles McMillian Jones of Mount Airy. Ms. Malcolm was preceded in death by her father, Raymond McMillian; a brother, Franklin McMillian; and two grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Monday, February 9, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Skyline Memory Gardens, with the Rev. Steve McCameron and Elder Gary Lowe officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
