Alice Mae Hepler Bowman

Mrs. Alice Mae Bowman, age 79, of Lexington, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025 at The Meridian Center in High Point. She was born on March 1, 1946 in Davidson County to the late William and Mary Thomason Hepler. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Charles Hepler (Teresa); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Pat Pearson; brothers, Doug Hepler, Coy Hepler, David Hepler (Debra). In addition to her parents Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by her husband of 50 plus years, R.M. Bowman; sister, Louise Lauter; brother, Donnie Hepler. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 11am at Spruce Street Baptist Church in Lexington with service conducted by Bro. Sammy Allison Sr . The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10am until the time for the service at the church. A private burial will be held at Doe Run Baptist Church Cemetery in Ararat, Virginia.
