Alisa Lynn Ratcliff Hutson

Mrs. Alisa Lynn Ratcliff Hutson, 64, of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice home in Dobson.  She was born in Surry County on August 21, 1958, to the late Donald and Patricia “Pat” Jones Ratcliff.  Mrs. Hutson was employed at the Surry County School System and Ridge Crest Retirement Community and was a member of Holy Cross Missionary Baptist Church.  Alisa was a loving mother, Mema, great grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed.  She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Mandi and Adam Hiatt, Brandi and Travis Anders; a son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Kristal Bledsoe; grandchildren, Lee’a and Jake Levesque, Nicholas Hiatt II, Cassie Kruper, Evan Kruper, Sara Bledsoe, Taylor Haynes, Nathan Bledsoe, Jordan Hayes, Carson Anders, Logan Bledsoe; great grandchildren, Walker Bruce, and Linley Levesque; brothers and sister-in-law, Randy Ratcliff, Rondale and Susan Ratcliff; a sister friend, Donna Maines; special nieces and nephew, Halee, Emma, Caden, Apple, and Alexis Ratcliff.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Hutson was preceded in death by a daughter, Carrie Danielle Bledsoe; a brother, Rodney Ratcliff.  A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Midway Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Phillips, and the Rev. Butch Holder officiating.  Burial will follow in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in mt.
