Allen Dale Fowler, Sr

Mr. Allen Dale Fowler, Sr., age 67 of Dobson passed away Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Fowler was born in Surry County May 26, 1940 to the late Delmar "Bud" and Lillian Coe Fowler. He was retired from Holcomb Heating and Air Conditioning and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Fowler is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Gayle Fowler and Laura Lynn Fowler both of Dobson; a son and daughter-in-law, Allen Dale Fowler, Jr. and Doris of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Nicole Fowler of Mt. Airy, Amber Puckett of Dobson, Steven Fowler of Mt. Airy, Adam Pardue of Thurmond, Cory Puckett of Dobson; and his best buddy, Nathan Fowler of Dobson; a sister and brother-in-law, Inez Fowler Nations and Hugh of Elkin; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Moore, a brother, Delmar Fowler and a special niece, Sherry Burchette. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 23, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy by Rev. Marty Reece and Rev. Larry Stone with burial to follow in Skyline Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
