Anne Platt Beasley Bell

Mrs. Anne Platt Beasley Bell, 94, of Winston-Salem, passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, April 18, 2026, at Arbor Acres United Methodist Retirement Community. Mrs. Bell was born August 7, 1931, in Union County, the younger of two daughters born to the late Roland Fowler Beasley, Jr. and Nell Bizzell Beasley. Anne devoted her life to creating a loving home for her family and was a constant source of support to her husband in his professional endeavors. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Brett Munn of Lewisville and Amy and Bill Buehler of Coxton Lake, PA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd Andrew Bell, III and Janie Bell of Winston-Salem and Christopher and Beth Bell of Buchanan, GA; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Andrew “Buddy” Bell, Jr.; and her sister, Jacquelyn Beasley Porterfield. In accordance with her wishes, no formal visitation or memorial service will be held. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
