Annie Lou Davis McCormick

Mrs. Annie Lou Davis McCormick, age 91, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. She was born June 15, 1934, in Yadkin County, to the late Will Davis and the late Lottie Wolfe Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby McCormick; her sisters, Beulah Atkins and Effie Anthony; her brothers, Paul Davis and Wade Davis; and her grandson, Pfc. Adam Marion.

Mrs. McCormick was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother who also loved her Lord and Savior and was always sharing her testimony with others. She was also faithful member of Rockford Baptist Church for 73 years and one of the oldest members of The Surry Baptist Association. She also worked at AAA Drug Company for over 30 years before her retirement. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters and sons-in-law, Diane McCormick Davis and J. C. Davis and Pam McCormick Marion and Donnie Marion; grandchildren, Valerie and Scott Kiger, Amanda and Eric Norman, and Adrian and Terry McCann; great-grandchildren, Emma Kiger, Noelle Kiger, Layla Norman, Rex Norman, Connor McCann, and Marissa McCann; her sister, Nell Lowe; brother, Joe Davis; several nieces and nephews; and longtime special friends, Arturo and Maria Hernandez. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 1:00-3:00 PM, at Rockford Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the church, with Rev. Roy Ferguson and Johnny McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery.
