Arvin Zenith Jones

Mr. Arvin Zenith "Buck" Jones, 78, of Elkin, formerly of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mr. Jones was born March 1, 1931, in Surry County, to the late Hillary and Lila Monday Jones. He retired from Cross Creek Country Club and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by two sons, Mike Jones of Cana, VA, and Ronnie Jones of Ivanhoe, VA; two granddaughters, Christy Leupold of Mount Airy and Allison Young of King; three great-grandchildren, Michael Leupold, Kyle Simmons, and Connor Young; and two brothers, Bobby Jones of Cana, VA, and David Jones of Trinity. There will be no formal visitation or service.
