Audrey Faye Thomas Jessup

Mrs. Audrey Faye Thomas Jessup, 75 of Mount Airy, passed away at her home Saturday January 3, 2026. She was born in Surry County on October 4, 1950, to the late Raymond Walter Thomas and Magaline Ayers Thomas Martin. Mrs. Jessup was a retired occupational therapist. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Jerry Wade Jessup, Sr.; daughter, Paula Kimrey; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Tyler Finley, Kristin Russell, Kameron Russell, Stephanie Jessup, Jacob Jessup, and Marie Jessup; two great grandbabies, Magnolia Finley and Emery Finley; sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Ricky Secrest; brother, Kenny Thomas; and a special fur baby, Lucky. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jessup was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Jessup; two sons, Larry Michael Jessup and Jerry Wade Jessup, Jr.; two brothers, Raymond Michael Thomas and Larry Dean Thomas; and by two sisters, Mary Tipton Jessup and Frances Ann Thomas Lightaul. A visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 ~ 3:00 at Moody Funeral Home with a Celebration of Grandma’s Life at 3:00pm. Pastor Larry Thomas will be officiating. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
