Mrs. Audrey Doris Stanley Bledsoe, age 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. She was born August 4, 1933, in Stokes County to the late Joe Gammons and the late May Johnson Gammons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, JD Stanley, and Marvin Bledsoe; her brother, Harvey Gammons; and her nephew, Weldon Gammons.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters and sons -in-law, Deborah and Mike Cave, and Meloney and Rev. Keith Jones; son and daughter-in-law, Stevie and Kay Stanley; grandchildren, Benita (Teddy) Martin, Miranda (Kevin) Thompson, Bro. Brandon (Christie) Jones, Tyler (Wendy) Jones, Heather Underwood, Hilary (Mark) Sears, Michelle Flint, and Dennie Moser; She had 19 Great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Colan Hyatt; nephew, Wallace (Sandra) Gammons; and a niece, Sherry (Bobby) Kirk.

Mrs. Bledsoe was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-and great-great grandmother, and sister. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Bledsoe also retired from Tultex in Dobson. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, August 31, 2022, in the Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Brandon Jones officiating. There will be no services held at the funeral home.
