Baby Byrdie Rae Cox

Born the early morning of June 13, 2025, Byrdie Rae Cox, daughter of Erick Devin Cox and Brittany Nicole Hawks Cox, took her first breath in Heaven. Byrdie Rae had already brought so much light, love, and joy to Earth, that Heaven decided to make far bigger plans for her. Her family, so full of excitement to meet and welcome her home, now have a little angel to welcome them home at the end of their journeys. Byrdie Rae is survived by her parents, Erick Devin Cox and Brittany Nicole Hawks Cox; a sister, Ruby Jean Cox; grandparents Susan Cox and Jimmy Watkins, and Ricky and Doris Hawks; great-grandmother Ruby E. Hawks; many aunts, great aunts, uncles, great uncles, cousins, and close family friends. Byrdie Rae was preceded in death by her grandfather Ricky Cox; great-grandparents Floyd and Jeanette Haun; great-grandfather Rush Hawks; and great-grandparents Royden (Buster) and Mabel Ayers all of whom must be delighting in the beauty of the heart and soul of this precious little baby. A private funeral service to celebrate Byrdie Rae will be held for the immediate family. The Lord chose you for a special mission, sweet Byrdie, so fly and do the Lord's will.
