Barbara Ann Davis

Mrs. Barbara Ann Marion Davis, age 69, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born November 12, 1949 in Surry County to the late Sally Ruth Perry Marion and Pholia Cornelius Marion. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Gene Marion. She is survived by her loving husband, John Sanders Davis III; daughters and sons-in-law, Sallyanne and David Jackson and Sarah and Jason Asbury; grandchildren, Dave Jackson and Taylor Asbury; sisters and brothers-in-law, Beverly and Ralph Seachrist and Elizabeth and Troy Bronson; a brother, Jimmy Marion; a special son, Tracy Smith and a special daughter, Juanita Castillo. Mrs. Davis worked for Nester Hosiery and a member of Blackwater Community Church. Visitation will be Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 6:00-7:30 P.M. at Blackwater Community Church, 525 Crotts Road, Mount Airy NC. A Celebration of Barbara’s life will follow at 7:30 PM with Reverend Ted Crotts and Reverend Frank Danley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blackwater Community Church.
