Barbara Lynn Canaday Smith

Mrs. Barbara Lynn Canaday Smith, 62, of Mt. Airy passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Moore of Pilot Mountain; two sons, Tony Smith of Woolwine, VA and Michael W. Smith of Mount Airy; four grandchildren, Blake Smith, Whitney Moore, Dylan Smith, Talan Smith. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Sargent Larry B. Smith; her parents, Kennis and Cleo Canaday; a sister, Patti Ward; a brother, Bob Canaday. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 17, from 2-6 PM to celebrate the life of Barbara Lynn Smith at the home of Barry and Doris Edmonds, 235 Fairview Drive, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
