Beatrice Gail Maggard Wall

Mrs. Beatrice Gail Maggard Wall, 59, of 131 Boaz Lane, Mount Airy, passed away Friday afternoon, December 19, 2014, at her home. Mrs. Wall was born July 31, 1955, in Pikeville, KY, the daughter of the late Eugene and Dixie Stratton Maggard. Beatrice was a homemaker. She is survived by three daughters, Sherri Lewis and her fiancé, Jason Hubbard, of the home, Wanda Wall of Mount Airy, and Loretta Johnson of Pilot Mountain; two sons, Darel Maggard of Roanoke, VA, and Russell Bouldin of Mount Airy; three grandchildren, Allison Lewis of the home, Logan Dawson of Cana, VA, and Dillon Johnson of Pilot Mountain; three sisters, Kay Miller of Winston-Salem, Virginia Sue Justice of Kemper, KY, and Patricia Large of Bristol, TN; two brothers, Clayton Maggard of Goldsboro and Dennis Maggard of King; a special friend, Diane Barnes of Mount Airy; and three godchildren, Deborah Wall Wright and Jamey Wall, both of Dobson, and Gary Grey Barnes, Jr. of Mount Airy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wall was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Wall. A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 21, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Rick Manring and the Rev. Josh Jenkins officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Moody Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1288, Mount Airy, NC 27030, to assist the family with the funeral expenses.
