Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Bolick III

Mr. Benjamin Franklin “Frank” Bolick III, age 64, of Mount Airy passed away peacefully at his home on Friday June 26, 2026. He was born in Surry County on December 28, 1961, the son of the late Benjamin “ Ben” F. Bolick, Jr. and Frances Brintle Bolick. Frank grew up in the White Plains community and attended North Surry High School. He was an iron worker by trade and a New River Canoe Guide. Frank was known for his love of all kinds of music and spent most of his summer days floating down the river. Surviving is his fiancée, Tracie Hedrick; daughter, Jessica Bolick Cockerham and her husband, Jeremiah; grandchildren, Benjamin Cockerham, Breana Cockerham, Nathaniel Cockerham, Jordan Cockerham, Makayla Cockerham; sister, Katie Bolick and her husband, Steve Wilson; nephew, Daniel Surratt and his wife, Anna and their family. A memorial service will be held Monday June 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Mrs. Jennifer Johnson-Brown officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Moody Funeral Service of Mount Airy is entrusted with Mr. Bolick’s arrangements.
