Benjamin Franklin Tucker

Mr. Benjamin Franklin “Frank” Tucker, 63, of Pilot Mountain, passed away Friday evening, March 11, 2022, at his home.  Mr. Tucker was born June 27, 1958, in Stokes County, the son of the late Roosevelt and Claudia Ellen Walker Tucker.  Frank worked at North Carolina Granite Corporation for many years and was a member of Blue Hollow Baptist Church.  He truly enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Teresa Goins Tucker of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Heather Tucker of Rural Hall; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Annie and Leroy Turney of Greensboro, Faye and Floyd Lowe of Mount Airy, and Darlene and Larry Tilley of Westfield; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Tucker of Stanleyville; many nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law, Jan Goins of Mount Airy.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by a precious granddaughter, Caroline Marie Tucker; four sisters, Lottie Chilton, Lillie Midkiff, Agnes Midkiff, and Nancy Ashburn; two brothers, Geder Tucker and Tom Tucker; and his father-in-law, J.D. Goins.  A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens, with the Rev. Rickey Martin officiating.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 until 1:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  The family wishes to express their gratitude for the love and compassion shown by the doctors and nurses at Novant Health Cancer Institute in Mount Airy.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Blue Hollow Baptist Church, P.O.
