Bernie Donell Hicks

Mr. Bernie Donell "Donnie" Hicks, 64, of Hillsville, VA, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Blue Ridge Nursing Home in Stuart, VA. Mr. Hicks was born December 1, 1945, in Carroll County, VA, to the late Bernie and Dorothy Vaughn Hicks. He was last employed as a salesman at Hicks Ford Motor Company. Surviving are a sister, Pamela Reece of Cary; a niece; a nephew; and several cousins. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. David "Buster" Sechrist officiating. There will not be a formal visitation.
