Bertie Boyd Conner

Mrs. Bertie Boyd Conner, age 91 of Stuart, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart. She was born in Floyd County on December 8, 1923, and was the last living child of Zelotes Boyd and Annie Pendleton Boyd. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by one daughter, Modjorie Boyer.

Mrs. Conner is survived by one daughter, Jill Conner of Stuart; one son, Cecil W. Conner, Jr. of Sandy Ridge, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Chad Collins, Marcie Collins and Carrie Conner Denny; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Boyd Family Cemetery with speakers Herbert and Tina Conner. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
