Betty Moss Inman

Mrs. Betty Moss Inman, age 76, of Dobson, passed away May 4th, 2026, at Northern Regional Hospital. She was born on January 10, 1950, to the late Rev. Ed Moss and the late Dora Phillips Moss. She was devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Mrs. Inman worked many years at Tultex Manufacturing and spent several years as a caregiver for several others. She was a kind and giving soul, always putting the needs of others in front of her own.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, James “Jimmy” Inman her sisters, Mildred Moore, Glenda Parker, Vickie Matthews, and Fran Moore; and her brothers, Michael, Leon and Dale Moss.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Jeffrey Martin Inman (Stacy); her grandson, Bailey Inman; sister, Mary Gwynn (Bobby); special nephew, Mike Parker; special niece, Beth Stone Atkins; and brother-in-law Jimmie C. Stone. Visitation will be Friday, May 8, 2026, from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM, in the Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, with pastor Austin Caviness officiating. The family will receive friends at other times at the residence of Jeffrey and Stacy Inman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Little Vine Primitive Church Cemetery Fund.
