Betty Jean Draughn

Mrs. Betty Jean Draughn, age 80, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy.  She was born on March 27, 1943 in Surry County to the late Tommie Rogers Draughn and Beatrice Towe Draughn.  Left to cherish her memory are sisters, Shelvie Cassell, and Christine Pack; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Draughn was preceded in death by sister, Ronda Parker; brothers, Garland and Gilbert Draughn.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Blue Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with service conducted by Rev. Dale Pack.
