Beverly Ann Collins Blevins

Mrs. Beverly Ann Collins Blevins, 48, of Mount Airy, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011. She was born February 10, 1963, in Surry County, to the late Arlis Collins and Cathy Hazelwood Glass. She was a member of Zephyr Missionary Baptist Church and was a disabled waitress. Surviving are her husband, Chris Blevins of the home; a daughter and son-in-law Crystal and Tim Stanley of Elkin; a son, Tim Sechrist of Elkin; two stepdaughters, Tania Blevins and Brenda Blevins, both of Mount Airy; a stepson, Chris Blevins, Jr. of Mount Airy; five grandchildren, Hannah Baker, Gabriel Sechrist, Camryn Stanley, Haven Sechrist, and John Griffin Stanley; a sister, Donna Beasley of Pilot Mountain; and a brother, Ray Collins of Pilot Mountain. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, with the Rev. Greg Key officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
