Bill "Ricky" Jones

Mr. Bill "Ricky" Jones, 55, of 205 City View Drive, Mount Airy, went to be with his Lord and Savior and his "Mom and Dad" Friday morning, April 4, 2014, at Twelve Oaks Assisted Living Facility. Mr. Jones was born March 9, 1959, in Surry County, the son of the late Billy Frank Jones and Shirley Corn Jones. Every person Ricky talked to fell in love with his kindness. Ricky was a member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving are his brother Ronald Jones of Mt. Airy, his sister and brother-in-law Sherri and Thomas Gullatt of Elkin and a niece Amanda Gullatt of Elkin. In addition to his parents Ricky was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Harvey and Grace Jones and his maternal grandparents Henry and Lucille Corn. Funeral services will be held Monday April 7, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Fellowship Baptist Missionary Baptist Church with services conducted by Rev. Chris Benfield. The family will receive friends Sunday night 6 to 8 P.M. at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. The family would like to thank Twelve Oaks Assist Living, Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care and Golden Living Nursing Home for all the love and care they showed Ricky during his time spent with them.
