Billy Ray Gallimore

Mr. Billy Ray Gallimore, age 87, passed away on Sunday November 24, 2024, at the Ridge Valley Center of Nursing. He was born in Wythe County, Virginia, on January 27, 1937, to the late Norman Estel and Lizzie Mae Gallimore. Mr. Gallimore was a heavy equipment operator and worked in construction with his sons until his retirement. He took great comfort in knowing his savior Jesus Christ and witnessed to everyone around him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Ricky Gallimore, Gary Gallimore, and Timothy Gallimore; his sisters, Nell Fortner, Betty Sizemore, Virginia Mae Mansfield, Ruth Lowe, Colene Hodges; his brothers, Roy Gallimore, Buddy Gallimore, and Troy Gallimore and several nieces and nephews. Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Juanita Gallimore and Vicky May Gallimore; his brother, Thomas “June” Gallimore; several grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Moody-Davis Funeral Service is serving the Gallimore family.
