Billy Jackson Massey

Mr. Billy Jackson Massey, age 57, of Stuart, Virginia finished his earthly race on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at his home.  He was born in Martinsville, Virginia on May 9, 1966, and was preceded in death by his father, Paul Clarence Massey, and his brother, Steven Grady Massey.  Billy was a loving husband, son, brother, dad, and grandpa.  He was a hard worker who loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors.  He was always willing to help anyone who needed it. Billy will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.   

Left to cherish the fond memories of Billy Massey are his wife, Hope Ann Hubbard of the home; one son, Dylan Massey (Kristen) of Patrick Springs, Virginia;  four grandchildren, Easton Reed Hall, Everleigh Grace Massey, Jackson Lee Massey, and Janson Levi Massey; his loving mother, Mary Frances Moore Massey of Stuart, Virginia; one brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey Massey (Ann) of Stuart, Virginia; one sister, Tammy Massey Rorrer of Bassett, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

A funeral service for Billy Massey will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Mark Wright and Pastor Kriss Foley officiating.  The burial will follow the service in the Ross Harbour Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Billy Massey Memorial Fund, c/o Moody Funeral Home, P.O.
