Bobby Dean Stanley

Mr. Bobby Dean Stanley, age 83, of Dobson, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019. He was born December 2, 1935 in Surry County to the late Alvin Charlie and Eva Maude White Stanley. He is survived by his loving wife, Nelda Jean Atkins Stanley; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Mike Slate; son and daughter-in-law, Mark Lyle and Donna Johnson Stanley; grandchildren, Chase Sterlin Harrison, Ryan Alexander Stanley, Raven Alexandria Stanley and Reid Allen Stanley; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry Lee and Freddie Stanley; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy Jewel and Jimmy Clayton Combs; sister-in-law, Ann Atkins; nephew, Jerry Todd Stanley; niece, Jamie Annette Blake; and precious and special friends, Kristi Shore and Judy Cook. Visitation will be Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 1-2 PM at Bear Creek Baptist Church. The service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Marty Reece officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson NC 27017.
