Bonnie Lee Meadows Easter

Mrs. Bonnie Lee Meadows Easter, Age 65 of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born in Surry County on June 20, 1949 to the late Rev. Lee Oliver and Betty Lou Smith Meadows. Mrs. Easter was retired from Rainbow Child Care and was a member of Fancy Gap Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael R. Easter of the home and his girlfriend Tracy Earhart, Greg and Kristy Easter of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Tanner Easter, Spencer Easter, Leah Easter, Chloe Easter, and Kandon Wilson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Cheryl Meadows of Mt. Airy and David and Lorrie Meadows of Mt. Airy, one sister and brother-in-law Debbie and Ronnie Hardy of Mt. Airy and three special friends Catherine Holder, Twainette Boyles and Kim Robertson all of Mt. Airy . In addition to her parents, Mrs. Easter was preceded in death by her husband, N. Raye Easter; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Sawyers Easter. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 29 at 2:00 PM at Fancy Gap Baptist Church with the Rev. Dwight Sechrist officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
