Bonnie Atkins Leak

Mrs. Bonnie Atkins Leak, 55, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Leak was born March 1, 1955, in Surry County, to the late Otis Odell and Stacey Bowman Atkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Stacey Mae Atkins; and a brother, Otis Junior Atkins. Surviving are her husband, Marvin Terrence Leak of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Shannon Morris and Hector Roman of the home; a stepdaughter, Angie Ollis of Greensboro; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bobby Dale Stanley, Jr. of Ararat and Joshua Mark and Kristen Morris of the home; and grandchildren, Trent Wayne Moon, Timothy, Joshua Logan Morris, Tiara Jade Stanley, Daniel Lee Stanley, Jacob Dale Stanley, David Zechariah Stanley, Wyatt Cooper Stanley, Journey, Spirit, and Jayla. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010, at 3:00 PM at Family Fellowship Church in Mount Airy, with Pastor Mike Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson.
