Bradley Monroe Gwyn

Mr. Bradley Monroe Gwyn, age 54 of Colfax, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Gwyn was born June 25, 1970, in Surry County to Bill Monroe and Virginia Louise Dunbar Gwyn. Bradley was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. Brad was a Professional Engineer and has worked in Facility Management since graduating from UNC-C with a Civil Engineering degree. He was currently working for Fayetteville State University as an Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities Maintenance and Planning. Mr. Gwyn will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Surviving is his wife of 29 years, Caroline Swift Gwyn; two daughters, Anna Gwyn, Emma Gwyn; his parents, Bill Monroe and Virginia Louise Dunbar Gwyn; a sister, Monica Gwyn Sands and husband, Gray; along with many uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews. Mr. Gwyn was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and mother and father-in-law. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy McCraw and Reverend Craig Hamlin officiating. Private interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Airy. The family will welcome friends following the service at Moody Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, North Carolina 28607. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangement.
