Brenda Jean Bennett Jessup

Mrs. Brenda Jean Bennett Jessup, age 84, of Pinnacle, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Harmony of Brookberry Farm in Winston Salem. She was born on August 21, 1940 in Surry County to the late Roger William Bennett and Beulah Brown Payne . She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ron Jessup (Gay), Grant Jessup (Tammy); grandchildren, Rona Hawks, Taylor Jessup, Katherine Jessup (Clifford), Hailey Jessup, Alex Jessup, Tyler Goad, Michael Baity (Danielle) and Turner Baity (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Emma Hawks, Nathaniel Hawks, Mia Baity; sister, Lisa Johnson (Rodney). In addition to her parents Mrs. Jessup was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Ronald “Ronnie” Keith Jessup; grandchild, Allie Nicole Jessup; sister Sandy Brown. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with service conducted by Rev. Will Eads and Rev. Andy Hughes. Burial will follow in Pilot Mountain City. The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time for the service at the funeral home.
