Brenda G. Smith

On April 23, 2018, Brenda Smith's Earthly body passed away at the age of 70.  Her spiritual body joins her son, Marty Gates, her mother, Vera Scott, her sister, Penny Vipperman, and her brother, Mike Scott in heaven.

Known to friends as, "Tootie," she was a nurse, a mother, a grandmother, sister, and friend.  

People who knew her best loved her kind spirit and her zest for life.  She loved each and every day she lived whether it was dark and raining or sunny and warm. She was an avid reader, and loved crafts like crocheting and quilting. She had a strong faith which carried her through difficult times including the last few days of her life.

Surviving is her husband, Gary Talbert, daughter, Stephanie Lincoln, brother, Stuart Scott, and beloved granddaughter, Morgan Odum.  

Services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Danny Gilley officiating.  Burial will follow in the New Hope Church of the Brethren Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
