Bruce Webb Simcox, Jr

Mr. Bruce Webb Simcox, Jr. age 68, of Lowgap, passed away Wednesday, June 03, 2015 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem. Mr. Simcox was born in Surry County on October 25, 1946 to Hallie R. Simcox and the late Bruce Webb Simcox, Sr. Mr. Simcox was retired from Law Enforcement after 35 years of service. Surviving is one son and daughter-in-law Scott and Natasha Simcox of Belews Creek, six grandchildren, Timothy Suiter of the home, Dakota and Dalton Todd of Mt. Airy, Tanner Simcox of King and Alexis and Brookelynn Simcox of Belews Creek, his mother Hallie R. Simcox of the home, one brother and sister-in-law Joey and Eva Simcox of Colfax and their children Bradley Simcox of Colfax and Ashley and Corey Tate of Kernersville and Mr. Simcox was married to Patricia Simcox of Winston Salem. In addition to his father Mr. Simcox was preceded in death by his daughter Michelle Todd. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 6, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Liberty Baptist Church in Lowgap with services conducted by Rev. Nate Kingsbury with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night 6 to 8 PM at Liberty Baptist Church in Lowgap. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Kate B.
