Carl Wayne "Billy" Martin

Mr. Carl Wayne “Billy” Martin, age 75, of Lowgap, passed away at his home on Wednesday evening, August 11, 2021. He was born in Surry County on August 4, 1946, to the late Arnold Casper Martin and Essie Ann Calloway Martin. Carl was a self-employed landscaper for many years. Left to cherish his memory are a son and daughter-in-law, Matthew Wayne Martin and Michelle; a daughter, Penny Lee Martin Snow; a granddaughter, a grandson, Noah Wright; Brittany Renee Snow; several nieces and nephews; and by a special friend, Bobbie Jean Wright. In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Martin and Lucille Vera Martin Barker; and by two brothers, Bobby Martin and Early Martin. There are no formal services for Mr. Martin at the funeral home. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Martin family.
