Carl John Stone, Jr.

Mr. Carl John Stone, Jr., 69, of Ararat, VA, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  Mr. Stone was born September 30, 1949, in Detroit, MI, to the late Carl and Marjorie Harrington Stone.  He proudly served our country in the United States Navy and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who will be dearly missed.  Among the many that will always cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Kathy Moser Stone; a daughter, Kara Stone; a son, Bronson Stone; three grandchildren, Austin Diaz, Casey Stone, and Kandra Stone; two stepbrothers, John Meier and Pat Meier; a stepsister, Kathy Meier; and many, dear friends.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
