Carlene Keith Shelor

Mrs. Carlene Keith Shelor, 77, of Meadows of Dan passed away peacefully in her home on June 15th, 2018.  

She was born on January 31st, 1941 to the late Gracie Burnette Keith Cockram and Esley Keith in Meadows of Dan.  She had eight brothers and sisters.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Mike Shelor; daughter, Felecia Shelor; granddaughter, Casey Davis; great-grandchildren, Rain and Banner Davis all of Meadows of Dan.  She was baptized in 2007 and is now with her Lord and Savior.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 17th, at Concord Primitive Baptist Church, 453 Concord Church Road, Meadows of Dan, VA at 4:00 pm; visitation beginning at 3:30 pm.  A graveside service will follow at the Burnette family cemetery, 2214 JEB Stuart Highway, Meadows of Dan, VA 24120.  Elder Tim McGrady presiding.
