Carol Lynn Morris

Mrs. Carol Lynn Walker Morris, age 73, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  She was born on August 27, 1949, in Essex County, New Jersey. She was a loving wife, companion, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Anthony Morris; sons, James Morris (Karina Matus), William Morris; grandchildren, Nicolas Morris, Ryan Morris, Anthony Morris, Richard Arciniegas, Deidre Morris, Brianna Morris, and Sean Burke; great-grandchild, Julia Morris. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her daughter, Hope Morris-Burke; her parents, William, and Margie Tebay.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with service conducted by Anthony Morris. Burial will follow in The Peoples Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
