Casey Leigh Snow Vernon

Casey Leigh Snow Vernon, 43, of Dobson, North Carolina passed away June 20, 2026. Born in Richmond, Virginia to Gary Lynn Snow, and Sandra Green Snow. To know her was to know kindness. She was a truly selfless person who always saw the good in others, offering grace, compassion, and understanding to everyone she met. Her love for animals reflected the gentle spirit she carried throughout her life. Though adopted as a child, she was never anything less than a cherished and beloved daughter. The day she was welcomed into the family was, by her parents’ account, one of the happiest days of their lives. Along with her mother and father, left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Casydie Vernon; son, Coby Vernon; sister, Keela Snow; fiancé, Jason Johnson; stepdaughter, Mercedes Johnson; and her loving aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends, Friday, June 26, 2026, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Salem Fork Christian Church. A funeral service will follow the visitation, at 2:00 PM at Salem Fork Christian Church with Rev. Austin Caviness officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
