Chad Everette Moore

Mr. Chad Everette Moore, 20, of 1361 Maple Grove Church Road, Mount Airy, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 8, 2010. Mr. Moore was born November 29, 1989, in Surry County, to Chris and Leona Golding Moore. He was a member of Blue Ridge Baptist Church. Surviving are his parents, Chris and Leona Golding Moore of the home; a "special girlfriend," Charlotte Cooke of Mount Airy; his grandmother, Clara Irene Golding of Mount Airy; a grandfather, Sheppard Ausby Moore of Mount Airy; and a great-grandmother, Rena Grimes of Mount Airy. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his grandmother, Martha Ann Collins Moore; and a grandfather, Clay Golding. The funeral service will be held Sunday, June 13, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Woody Flippen and the Rev. Tommy Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Blue Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
