Charles Edward Crossingham, Jr

Mr. Charles Edward "Chase" Crossingham, Jr., 53, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 20, 2014, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Crossingham was born in Surry County, April 28, 1961, the son of the late Charles Edward Crossingham, and the late Dianne David. Chase was a loving, big-hearted man who saw the good in everybody. He always took the time to help those in need when the opportunity arose. His passions were for his family, friends, literature, and dogs everywhere. He was an excellent husband, father, son, brother, father-in-law, friend and son-in-law. Chase was generous and kind to everyone and hoped to always pass it forward to others. Chase was employed with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Wealth Advisors in Winston Salem, NC. The greatest love of his life was his beautiful wife of 33 years, Rhonda Guy Crossingham; his two adoring children, Jordan Brannock, and her husband Shep, his son, Charles Edward "Chad" Crossingham, III; he is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Michael and Diane Guy; his brother and his sister-in-law, David and Martha Guy; his two nieces, Ashley and Maria Guy; one sister, Kim C. Braun. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Central United Methodist Church, with Dr. Jon Cawley officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home or church.
