Charles "Danny" Daniel Davis

Mr. Charles “Danny” Daniel Davis, 74, of Dobson NC, passed away Monday afternoon, December 11, 2023. Danny was born February 5, 1949, in Yadkin County to the late Rufus and Lois Vestal Davis. Mr. Davis was a member of Fairview Church of Christ. Danny was an avid outdoorsman and spent most of his free time carp and bass fishing, as well as hunting quail and grouse. Danny also umpired for many years, along with coaching and playing various sports. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Marion Davis; an infant daughter; and brother-in-law, Spencer Stokes. He is survived by two sons, Charles Ryan Davis, and John Davis; a sister, Betty Lou Davis Stokes; and brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Lisa Davis. Funeral services will be held at Fairview Church of Christ, Thursday December 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM with Leonard Simpson, Jimmie Shores, and Sam Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the church.
