Charlie Junior Miller

Mr. Charlie Junior Miller, age 87, of Siloam, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, in Dobson, NC.  He was born in Surry County, on June 4, 1936, to the late Charlie Vestal Miller and the late Lena Ethel Whitaker Miller.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Davis Miller; sisters, Ila Mae Bledsoe, Katie Cooke; brothers, Doug Miller, Roy Miller, James Miller; son-in-law, Earl Bledsoe.  Mr. Miller was a retired truck driver having worked with Roadway Express for 29 years.  He was a member of Siloam Baptist Church and served as a Mason for 40 years.  Surviving is his daughters and son-in-law, Joan Miller Bledsoe, Carolyn Miller Comer and Clark Comer; grandchildren, Beth and Mike Flinchum, Christie Bledsoe, Josh and Samantha Comer, Jamey and Cindy Comer; great-grandchildren, Blake Flinchum, Faith Flinchum, Johnathon Flinchum, Lorick Flinchum, Kayli Comer, Nevaeh Comer, David Comer, Sloane Comer, Isaac Comer, Elijah Comer, Mya Comer.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, June 19, 2023, at Siloam Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Rev. Bill Faw and Pastor Blake Flinchum will officiate the services. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of his service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 6909 Siloam Road, Siloam NC 27047, or to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson NC 27017.  Moody-Davis Funeral Services is serving the Miller family.
