Charlie Woodrow Moore

Mr. Charlie Woodrow “Woody” Moore, 72, of Pilot Mountain, passed away Saturday evening, March 5, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  Mr. Moore was born March 28, 1949, in Surry County, to the late James and Maggie Faye Butcher Moore.  Woody served our country in the United States Army for 18 years, and he later worked at Douglas Battery in Winston-Salem.  He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Teresa Inman Moore of the home; a daughter, Sharon Moore of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Melissa Moore of Ohio; four grandchildren, J.C. Euson, Sarah Joyce, Whitney Moore, and Josh Euson; and three great-grandchildren, Breyonna Euson, Noelle Euson, and Emma Euson.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Moore.  No formal visitation or memorial service will be held at this time.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
