Cheryl Lynn Pruitt

Ms. Cheryl Lynn Pruitt, 39, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010, at Forsyth Medical Center. Ms. Pruitt was born January 16, 1971, in Forsyth County, to Pauline Jessup Phipps. She had been employed with Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center prior to her illness. Surviving are her mother, Pauline Jessup Phipps and her stepfather, Robert Evans, of Winston-Salem; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles and Tammy Pruitt of Winston-Salem and Ronnie Pruitt of Sierra Vista, AZ; a niece, Brittany Pruitt; a nephew, Tyler Pruitt; a special pet, Daisy; and hundreds of Facebook friends. The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 18, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Buford Jessup officiating. Burial will follow in the Jessup Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
