Cheryl Luanne White

Ms. Cheryl Luanne White, age 65, of Dobson, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born March 3, 1957, in Surry County to the late John Reuben White and the late Virginia White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David “Strawberry” White. Left to cherish her memories are her fiancé and caregiver/best friend of over 15 ½ years, Jack Moore; her sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Tim Burton; special close friends, Kathy Sprinkle, Carolyn White and Misty Noah; and her second sister, Phyllis Ritter. Cheryl was of the Baptist faith and was well known for her love of designing cards on her computer and sending them to others. She also loved to work in her flower and gift shop, making beautiful arrangements for funerals, weddings and all occasions, including gift sets and baskets, Her greatest love was riding her motorcycle that Jack taught her to ride. She had rather be riding. To her, it was both relaxing and a thrill. Her faith in God got her through many trials. She faced many challenges and physical limitations during her life, yet maintained her independence and positive attitude for many years till cancer took her. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the White family. There will be no services held at the funeral home.
