Christian Christy

Mr. Christian Nathaniel Christy “Buck”, 21 of Mount Airy passed away at Northern Regional Hospital on Saturday, April 17, 2021.  Mr. Christy was born June 19, 1999 in High Point, North Carolina to William Joe and Samantha Christy Monk. Christian was a loving son, father, brother, and friend.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.  Left to cherish his memories are his fiancé, Jenna Renae Leftwich; a son, Isaiah Xavier Christy; one sister and brother-in-law, Heather Swink and husband Donald; two brothers, Mason Tyler Christy, and Aaron Monk and fiancé Alyssa Everhart; his maternal grandparents, Billie and Christine Christy; his future mother-in-law, Tara Renae Allen; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Mr. Christian was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, David and Evelyn Newman Kirk.  A funeral service will be held Friday, April 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Pastor Kelly Haynes officiating.  Burial will follow in The People’s Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 12:00 PM until time of the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.   To send flowers to Christian's family, please visit our floral store.
