Cindel Grace "Gracie" Waid

Cindel Grace “Gracie” Waid, 19, of Lowgap, North Carolina passed away unexpectedly November 28, 2025. Born December 30, 2005, to Timothy Waid and Cindel Hodges. Gracie was a true joy, and so special to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was compassionate and tender-hearted and could bring you to smile even on the hardest days. Along with her mother and father, left to cherish her memory is her grandparents, Mandy Lewis and Dale, and Greg and Debbie Hodges; great grandparents, R.P. and Sharon Hodges, and Delmar Lewis; sisters, Elizabeth McBride, and Macy Waid; brother, Tj Waid; uncle, Brett Hodges; special aunt and uncle, Justin Mayes and Sara; and special cousin, Savannah Mayes. Gracie is preceded in death by great grandparents, Lawrence and Georgia Mayes, and Coleen Hodges; and uncle, Timmy Mayes. A memorial gathering will be held at Moody-Davis Funeral Service on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is serving the family.
