Clara Delores Cash McCullough

Mrs. Clara Delores "Dee" Cash McCullough, 77, of 1513 West Wensley Drive, Mount Airy, passed away early Wednesday morning, April 9, 2014, at Hugh Chatham Nursing Center in Elkin. Mrs. McCullough was born November 28, 1936, in Allen County, OH, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Bertha Faulkner Cash. Dee was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Her talents were many, as friends and family well remember. She could make anything beautiful. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, David Arthur McCullough of the home; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Maureen and Richard Beggs of Kernersville, Melanie and Ken Billett of Irving, TX, Jennifer McCullough of the home, and Kathleen McCullough and John Evans of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Mary Alyce McCullough of Winston-Salem and Stephanie Smith Turner and her husband, Ryan Turner, of Dallas, TX; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Roberta Bickham, Ava Melton, and Marie and Stan Lawrence, all of Lima, OH, and Alice Cisco of Caledonia, OH; and several loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCullough was preceded in death by five brothers, Clarence Delmar Cash, Everett W. Cash, Robert Eugene Cash, Charles Wesley Cash, and Virgil Roy Cash. The family expresses deep appreciation to the staff of Hugh Chatham Nursing Center for their loving care, especially Chris and Laura. To celebrate Dee's life, the family will receive friends Friday, April 11, 2014, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
