Clark Wayne Freeman

Mr. Clark Wayne Freeman, age 76, of Dobson, NC passed away on September 19, 2023, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.  He was born in Surry County on October 2, 1946, to the late Porter Dewitt Freeman and the late Mary Frances Abbott Freeman.  He was a self-employed car detailer, a veteran of the US Army.  Surviving is his wife, Sharon Folger Freeman, of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Gina and Tim Roten, Jamie and Shannon Church; grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Beth Roark, Dakota Roark, Brannon Church, Brayson Church, Briley Church; great-grandchildren, Jillian Greer, Josie Greer,  Jayla Greer, Juliette Greer, Elijah Patrick, Rayleigh Whitley; sister, Deborah Meredith; brother and sister-in-law, Douglas Darnell and Barbara Freeman.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Chattin, Mildred Mayes.  The family will be holding a private memorial service at a later date.  Moody Davis Funeral Home is serving the Freeman family.  There will be no services held at the Funeral Home.
