Claude Clinton Cook

Mr. Claude Clinton Cook Age 90 of 1026 North St. Mt. Airy, NC. passed away Thursday July 5, 2012 at the Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Cook was born November 11, 1921 in Surry County to the late Manuel and Lula Hunter Cook, he was retired from United Plastics Inc. as the Plant Supervisor and was a member of Haymore Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons and daughter-in-law Jeff and Carol Cook of Apex and O. J. Cook of Winston Salem, four grandchildren Joy Cook of Wilmington, Justin Cook of Roxboro, Kaitlan Cook of Fort Lewis, WA and Adam Cook of Valparaiso, IN. and one brother A. Q. Cook of Winston Salem. In addition to his parents Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ruth Johnson Cook and by three brothers Raymond Cook, James Hoover Cook and Paul Cook. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 10, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel with services conducted by Rev. Robert McCrary with burial to follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens with full military rites conducted by the VFW Memorial Honor Guard Mt. Airy Post #2019 and Pilot Mountain Post #9436. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time for the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd.
