Clyde Edward Lockhart Jr.

Mr. Clyde Edward Lockhart Jr, age 78, of Pinnacle, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, April 27, 2026 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin. He is now running through the streets of Heaven in perfect peace and joy. He was born on June 4, 1947 in Princeton, West Virginia to the late Clyde Edward Sr., and Edith Lockhart. Mr. Lockhart proudly served our country in the United States Marines for 15 years after which he and his loving wife owned and operated together ServiceMaster Cleaning. He loved life, and loved helping people. He was very generous and kind and liked to make everyone feel good. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 51 years, Donna McElwain Lockhart; daughter, Michelle Lockhart; grandchildren, Ryan Lockhart, and Katana Triplett; great-grandchildren, Bentley and Arizona Lockhart; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda Kelley (Jim), Peggy Shrewsbury (Charlie); brothers and sisters-in-law, James Lockhart (Norma), Ronald Lockhart, Joan Lockhart; numerous nieces, nephews and friends of whom he loved and cherished dearly. In addition to his parents Mr. Lockhart was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Lockhart. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Haymore Memorial Baptist Church with service conducted by Rev. Kevin Minix. Full Military Honors by VFW Honor Guard Post #2019 of Mt. Airy and Post #9436 of Pilot Mountain. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the time for the service at the church. Due to allergies please DO NOT send any real flowers to the church.
