Coleson Grey Payne

Coleson Grey Payne, beloved son of Madison Holyfield and Matthew Payne, was born sleeping on May 23rd, 2025, and is now being raised among the angels in heaven. Although his time with us was brief he will forever be loved and missed.

Coleson will be forever remembered by his parents Madison and Matthew; grandparents Mercie Payne (Lloyd Cline), Jody Payne, Joshua and Nicole Holyfield. Uncle Benjamin Holyfield; Aunts Morgan Payne, Kalie Holyfield, Willow Holyfield. Great-grandparents Jolene Mitchell (Ron White), Roy and Michelle Mitchell, Harry and Nancy Holyfield, Susan Edwards, Elwood Thomas. Great-great grandparents Carol McBride and Steve Thomas. Special Aunt and Uncle Jody and Renae Mitchell. Cousin Asher Mitchell.

Proceeding Coleson’s passing are his Great-grandparents Ray Payne and Dorthy Cave. Great-great grandparents Richard McBride and Brenda Thomas, Annie and Frank Holyfield.

Revelation 21:4: And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and kind words during such a difficult time. A memorial honoring Coleson’s short but meaningful life will be held by the family at a later date. Moody’s Funeral Home is assisting the family.
